“I try not to copy any other artist, I like to explore and discover my own techniques, themes and ways of expressing the world around and inside me/us. I can’t deny the fact that I have received formal training and education in regards of Plastic Arts as well as the knowledge of the work of many talented artists around the world and through time but I follow my instincts when it comes to painting. I would describe my self as a “New Savage” ,”Wild Primitive”. The way I feel my work is “more me” is when I do finger painting, no sketching and choosing colours in an almost “trance” state, quick as if the moment would be captured in the medium… the rage, the passion, the emptyness and love… all human emotions. For me “Art” is just a way of saying things when you are a bit shy, a way of singing when you don’t have a sweet voice… Art should not be an elitist sport… Art should be a common activity and an exploited means to an enlightenment path for humanity”
