A quick explanatory note, which hopefully will go some way to atone for and explain our comparative lack of activity in recent days…
Last month, we submitted an application to produce a one-off special edition of The Wolf, through an organisation called Ideastap – a private body whose raison d’etre is to provide assistance of one kind and another to burgeoning creative projects.
Very happily, our proposal won the bid for funding, and we are now pouring our efforts into this project – however, the New Wolf’s site will not be neglected and we have plenty of new features being worked on over the next few weeks.
Our winning proposal for IdeasTap is a zine called New Cartography; which will explore alternative methods of reading, reacting to and interacting with the built environment, and find fresh and (hopefully) revelatory ways of narrating cities not as vast, cold, monolithic unities, but as spaces of specific, local and personal experiences.
We are recruiting contributors who are interested to work on this project. For more details, please have a read through our article on the Ideastap site here, and if interested, respond by submitting a response to the brief here.
In the meantime, watch this space…more news to follow…

Theo, Christo.
